Do I need to register for each session?

Participation in every session is not required. If you intend on joining multiple sessions, you must register for each session individually.

 

How do I participate in the Virtual Summit?

You must have Zoom to participate in the Virtual Summit. You can join via computer, mobile app, or by phone call (audio only). See FAQ below about downloading Zoom.

When you join the session, your video will be disabled.

 

Will the sessions be recorded? How do I view presentation slides?

Yes, each session will be recorded and recordings, along with speaker PPTs and resources, will be made available on the Program & Speakers page of this website. Materials will not be posted right away so please check back in the days following a session.

Recorded sessions are eligible for CEUs for CHES, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC and LEP through June 30, 2020. 

 

I am not familiar with using Zoom. Can you assist?

You must have a Zoom account to participate in the Virtual Summit. Check out Zoom’s Support Center which has many helpful tutorial articles and videos. To get started:

Download Zoom: You can download the Zoom Desktop Client for MacWindowsChromeOS and Linux, as well as the Zoom Mobile App for iOS and Android from our Downloads page. 

Practice: Start a test meeting to familiarize yourself with Zoom and test your microphone/speakers before joining a meeting.  You can also test your video or audio while in a Zoom meeting.

Joining a Meeting: When you register for a Summit session, you will receive a link and meeting ID to join the virtual meeting on the scheduled date and time. To join the meeting, simply click this link and your Zoom account will launch. You can also go to join.zoom.us and enter the meeting ID. 

The OCWHP is available to provide technical assistance on Zoom so you can join the Summit sessions with ease. Please contact Sydney Minchin at (714) 516-8263 or minchin@ocwomenshealth.org to request support.

**Important Notice: Please update all of your Zoom applications to version 5.0 or higher. I would like to receive continuing education units (CEUs) for my participation. How do I request CEUs?

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for CHES, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, LEP and Nursing (live session only) are available through June 30, 2020. Please see the Home Page for the number of contact hours available per session.

In order to request and receive CEUs, you must complete both an Evaluation Survey and CEU Request Form for each session by 5:00 pm PST on June 30. Requests after this deadline will not be accepted.

One certificate will be issued for units earned across all sessions. Certificates of participation will be disseminated in the weeks following the Virtual Summit.

 
 

How do I submit a question for a speaker or session?

If you already have a question for a speaker or session, you can submit it on the Registration page. During the virtual session, you will be able to submit questions through the Q&A feature on Zoom.
